Immunity to Change™ Coaching and Workshops
-
Like the body, the mind has its own immune system. The mind’s immune system protects individuals from change that might feel unsafe or risky. As a trained facilitator of the Immunity to Change™ process, Alanna can help individuals and teams uncover what is holding them back and how to overcome their own immunity to change. This work can be done through 1-to-1 coaching and/or team workshops.
What are the benefits of an Immunity to Change™ (ITC) Workshop?
• Research-based approach
• Identify hidden behaviors and commitments that hinder change
• Provide time for deep self discovery
• Improve individual and team outcomes
• Create a structure to move teams towards change
• Move from potential to actualized growth
• Personalized and actionable professional development
School Leadership Coaching
-
In the current education environment, the term 'change' can sometimes signify chaos, complexity, and stress. Leading and committing to your vision in these times can be particularly difficult.
As an educational consultant and certified leadership coach, Alanna can guide you in discovering your capabilities, acknowledging your strengths, and successfully implementing change.
Personalized leadership coaching centers on your current situation, taking a forward-thinking approach to address the challenges specific to your role. Alanna's individualized method focuses on you, your goals, and the obstacles hindering your progress and development.
Curriculum
Auditing
-
The curriculum auditing process ensures that curricular goals and educational vision match the curriculum being taught and desired student outcomes. This process can be applied to vertical curriculum alignment (i.e. K-5 Language Arts) or alignment amongst a grade level.
Alanna offers a comprehensive and holistic approach to the curriculum auditing process that considers classroom dynamics, the taught curriculum vs. the documented curriculum, and the perspectives of educators and learners. To ensure a complete 360° understanding of the school’s curricular goals, the auditing process involves on-site classroom visits, surveys, and focus groups with teachers, administrators, and students. Then, through discussions about the school’s mission and the data collected, Alanna will provide recommendations about changes that will align more effectively with the school's educational objectives and vision.
